On Thursday, October 19th, during the 2006 Mendocino Coast Economic Outlook Conference, several local business leaders will be presented with the Mendocino Coast Spirit Award. This award spotlights business honorees that live or work on the Mendocino Coast and are chosen by sponsoring organizations. The Mendocino Coast Spirit Award is intended to recognize the leadership and positive contributions business leaders, chambers of commerce, trade groups and community organizations make to our local economy and quality of living. This year, Spirit Awards will be presented to honorees selected by The Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce, the City of Fort Bragg's Promotion Committee, the West Company, the Mendocino Coast Recreation and Park District, the Mendocino Coast Economic Planning Group, and the Westport Village Society.

The presentations will be made during first day activities of the 3rd annual Mendocino Coast Economic Outlook Conference scheduled for Thursday, October 19th, at Dana Gray School, Chestnut Street, Fort Bragg. The conference is open to the general public.
